Our experience

4 Reels Limited was established in November 2008. Our managing director, Vincent Frandsen, has been involved in the design and manufacture of hose reels since 2001 in South Africa. He decided to move to New Zealand with his family in August 2007 and has established a new business here. We have the knowledge and ability to build reliable industrial hose reels that suit all applications. Some of his major customers included Caltex, De Beers Diamond Mines in South Africa and one of the largest mining suppliers in Australia and his experience includes manufacturing a new service vehicle, every month, for the South African mining industry and exporting hose reels across the world.

Our customers and products

We are continually developing and improving our business and service. We are now ready to deliver our new range of Kiwi-manufactured reels to the local market and abroad. We have already installed our newly-designed hose reels into yachts built right here in Auckland. We have delivered custom high-pressure methanol reels to a customer in New Plymouth as well as supplying a bank of 21 water wash-down reels to a winery in Blenheim. Our reel's mechanical reliability and durability has been demonstrated by a large ¾” hose tensioned reel for a moving arm that constantly deploys and retracts hose throughout the day.
